Protestors cross Nashville, Tenn.'s Dr. M.L.K. Jr Blvd. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, representing one of 50 nation-wide protests that took place in city capitals of every state as a part of the “50501 Movement.” The group made their way from the state capitol building, where the event began around noon, down to Broadway. They then marched and performed chants before returning to the capitol a little before 5 p.m.. The movement called for the protest against Donald Trump, Project 2025, and the recent influences they’ve had against migrants, women, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
